Commercial Department Assistant

Location(s): Bozeman

Role: Perform commercial department loan file preparation and processing. Open new business accounts. Perform quality control activities. Present a friendly, professional and personable attitude that communicates to members, staff and visitors that the credit union is a friendly and professional financial institution. Assess the needs of multiple members and prioritize requests to ensure that members receive the highest quality service possible. Handle daily routine with moderate freedom to interpret and act upon various situations.

Experience: One to two years of similar or related experience.

Education: A high school education or GED is required. A four-year college level of language, math and reasoning skills preferred. Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education.

Work Environment: This job is scheduled during normal credit union business hours. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The job calls for a high degree of mental concentration to interpret and act upon a wide range of situations. The job requires a degree of attention to details.
