Rocky Mountain Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative to join our team. Rocky Mountain Credit Union offers a competitive base wage plus incentive compensation as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
Role: Assists members and potential members with their financial needs, assists with financial transactions, involving paying and receiving, cash and other negotiable instruments, opens new accounts, processes account transactions, resolves problems, and provides assistance and information regarding products and services. Present a friendly, professional and personable attitude that communicates to members, staff and visitors that the credit union is a friendly and professional financial institution.
Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience. Direct cash-handling experience in previous positions with equal responsibilities is acceptable. Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education.
Education: Job requires a high school level of language, math and reasoning skills.
Work Environment: The job is scheduled during normal credit union business hours. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, ranging from 7:45 am to 6:00 pm. requires the ability to work flexible hours. Ability to handle fast-paced area. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Work creates normal fatigue daily. Work creates moderate stress during certain periods during daily routine. Job does not have specific volume and pace of work standards except that the job requires that members be served in the timeliest manner possible. Job requires extensive member contact on a continual basis.
