Rocky Mountain Credit Union is seeking an experienced Real Estate Loan Officer to expand our team in Bozeman. Role: Receive and process real estate loan applications, build relationships with members, develop outside relationships with referral partners, and network within the community. Present a friendly, professional and personable attitude that communicates to members, staff, and visitors that the credit union is a friendly and professional financial institution.
Experience: Three years' consecutive experience as Loan Officer/Financial Services Representative or minimum of five years' direct experience and skill in the areas of real estate lending or a related field. Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education.
Education: Job requires a four-year college level of language, math and reasoning skills; or a two year college degree; or combined experience in a related field with 5-10 years of financial institution employment, and knowledge of real estate lending.
Work Environment: The job is scheduled during normal credit union business hours. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Requires the ability to work flexible hours. The job calls for a high degree of mental concentration to interpret and act upon a wide range of situations. The job requires a high degree of attention to details.
