Rocky Mountain Credit Union is seeking a Branch Manager to join our team in Bozeman. Rocky Mountain Credit Union offers competitive wages and benefits.

Role: To direct the operations of a Credit Union facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service, and growth plans. Has limited lending authority. Present a friendly, professional and personable attitude that communicates to members, staff and visitors that the credit union is a friendly and professional financial institution.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Responsible for establishing  a sales and service culture for all areas and product lines; hires, reviews, schedules, trains and monitors the work of branch personnel; conducts performance reviews; helps prepare and develop a branch budget consistent with strategic plans and overall budget; underwrites consumer loans and reviews and approves underwriting decisions of subordinates; responsible for ensuring the professional appearance of the branch, including ground and internal workstations; acts as the facility security manager; builds positive relationships with local businesses and represents the branch to members, sponsor organizations and other groups; performs teller functions, member service and/or lending functions as needed; is accountable for compliance with applicable laws and regulations; is expected to participate in required training to become familiar with legal and regulatory requirements affecting job responsibilities; maintains licenses or certifications applicable to the role; and  actively seeks training and development for the role, among other duties and responsibilities.   

Experience: Five years’ experience in a related field with equal responsibilities is acceptable. Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education.

Education: The job requires a two-year college level of language, math and reasoning skills. Higher education and/or formal training is preferred.

Work Environment:  The job is scheduled during normal credit union business hours. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Requires the ability to work flexible hours. The job calls for a high degree of mental concentration to interpret and act upon a wide range of situations. The job requires a high degree of attention to details.
