Are there rideshare app restrictions on my account? X

Yes. Rocky Mountain Credit Union has seen a significant increase in fraudulent transactions for our members using these ride-sharing apps. To help keep our members' information safe, we will be restricting these types of transactions.

If you plan to travel and use these apps, or if you use the apps while at home in Montana please let us know ahead of time. Similar to a travel notice on your credit or debit card, we can authorize these transactions if we know in advance. Please contact the credit union directly to place these notices on your account.

Are there travel restrictions on my MasterCard Debit Card? X

Are you traveling outside of Montana, give us a call to place a travel notice on your card? Just give us a call or send us an email to add a travel notice to your account so that you may use your debit card while you’re traveling. If you’re not traveling please contact us so that we may look into your account and see what the specific issue may be.

Does RMCU accept Canadian Currency? X

We do not accept physical foreign currency (coin/paper “cash”). We can take checks/money orders in foreign currency including Canadian. There is a service charge to process. Processing time can take as much as 2 weeks in some cases longer. Funds are credited at the end of processing.

Does RMCU have a notary? X

Yes, in every branch which is a free service for members.

Does RMCU have an on-site coin counter? X

Yes in every branch, free for members to use.

How do I login to my online banking? X

Step 1: Login Screen

  1. Select “Register” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen

Step 2: Disclosure Acceptance Screen

  1. Read Online Banking disclosure
  2. Select ‘I Agree’ check box
  3. Select the ‘Open PDF’ link
  4. Enter the code from the PDF link above
  5. Select ‘Continue’

Step 3: Account Lookup Screen

  1. Input correct information into required fields (fields marked with an *)
  2. Input correct information into one of the two optional fields
  3. Select ‘Continue

Step 4: Username Creation Screen

  1. Input user name of your choosing (see instructions on screen)
  2. Select ‘Check Availability’
  3. Select how you wish to receive a temporary password
  4. Select ‘Continue’

Temporary password e-mail may take up to 5 minutes to reach the destination inbox

Step 5: Temporary Password Screen

  1. Manually enter the temporary password received in your e-mail
  2. Select ‘Login

Copying and Pasting your temporary password will prompt the system to state the password has expired.

Step 6: New Password Screen

  1. Enter your new password
  2. Re-enter your new password
  3. Select ‘Continue’

Step 7: Security Question Screen

  1. Select five (5) different security questions and enter answers
  2. Select ‘Continue’

Step 8: Confidence Image Screen

  1. Select or upload a Confidence Image
  2. Provide an ‘Image Secret’ phrase or word
  3. Select ‘Continue’

Step 9: Account Information Screen

  1. This screen will display account balances

No user action is required during this process. This loading process can take several minutes.

Step 10: Contact Info Validation Screen

  1. Review and/or edit your E-Mail address
  2. Review and/or edit your phone number
  3. Update your time zone
  4. Select ‘Continue’

Where are you located and do you have ATMs? X

We are located in Montana and have branches in Helena, Bozeman, Butte, and Belgrade. We also have ATMs at all of our local branches, and we participate in the Money Pass and Co-Op ATM networks as well. You can use any ATM in these networks free of charge.
